CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

A call for Applications for the selection and training of eco-entrepreneurs in Egypt was open from 20th of July 2022 to 31st of October 2022. It was announced by all partners through a social media campaign.  The call closed on time resulting in 464 Egyptian applicants. Through their participation in the training workshops, the eco-entrepreneurs acquired the knowledge and tools needed to transform their innovative ideas into green business models.  The best ideas were selected to benefit from a six-month incubation phase.

The call for applications is for the benefit of eco-entrepreneurs: people with ideas for economic projects with an ecological or social impact.

Candidates with the following profile are invited to participate in this call:

• You are an eco-entrepreneur.

• You have an idea for a green business.

• You are one of these future green entrepreneurs.

• You want to turn your idea into a green product or service to offer on the market.

• You want to start an innovative business that can create economic, environmental, and social added value.

• You are resident in one of the following regions: Alexandria, Cairo, Giza, Upper Egypt & the Red Sea.

• Women and individuals under 29 years of age are especially encouraged to participate in this call for applications.
