MozFibre is an Egyptian startup specialized in manufacturing sustainable home products and lighting units from recycled banana leaves. In Egypt, there are 60 million annual waste of banana trees that are disposed of in non-environmental ways, contributing to pollution and the spread of diseases. To combat this problem, MozFibre addresses waste management in a special method that transforms banana
leaves into durable and eco-friendly material and products. The recycled banana paper offers diverse textures and patterns used in producing sustainable furniture and lighting units catering for a wide range of customers such as hotels and tourist villages, owners of villas and chalets, class A cafes, handmade product makers, fans of handmade products and lovers of environmentally-friendly products.
