Fish production is seriously endangered by heavy metal pollutants caused by industrial wastewater. The deposition of toxic metals in fish tissues eventually ending in human bodies is absolutely fatal. Wealth uses aquatic plants to remove toxic heavy metals from water (phytoremediation process) and then uses such plants in producing fertilizers, providing a sustainable solution to water polluted by heavy metals.

Social Impacts:

• Improves the health of fish and fish consumers by reducing exposure to heavy metals.
• Creates blue jobs in the aquaculture and fertilizer industries.
